About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides care to a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is the region's healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region's only Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. The system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, six residency programs and more than 50 affiliated physician practices. The Environmental Services Attendant, also known as Housekeeper, is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a safe environment for TMH's patients, families, employees and community. They are accountable for customer satisfaction by providing a safe, sanitary, neat, and orderly environment. The role requires maintaining a high standard of housekeeping quality in patient rooms, ancillary areas, offices, departments, public areas, and other facility rooms via daily performance of the 10/Step Cleaning Process. Employees are expected to exhibit workplace behaviors that are aligned with TMH's Mission Statement and Values.

Requirements

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Completion of department’s training that will provide the tools to meet the minimum requirements of the job by the completion of the probationary period.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED
3 years prior Health Care or Hospitality Industry experience.
Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors.
