Requirements

Reliable and dependable work ethic.
Ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced work environment.
Able to operate floor maintenance equipment.
Able to perform essential duties that require physical work, lifting and pulling.
Able to walk and stand for prolonged periods (regular work shift is eight hours).
Ability to climb a six-foot ladder;
Ability to work with cleaning chemicals, such as sanitizers, disinfectants and aerosols.
Able to perform repetitive duties throughout a shift (polishing slot machines, cleaning washrooms, vacuuming).
Proven customer service experience.
Demonstrate accountability and follow through on commitments.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of cleaning supplies, chemicals, techniques and uses an asset.
Ability to work independently and/or cohesively with a team while promoting good employee relations with co-workers.
Previous housekeeping, environmental service or cleaning experience an asset.
Committed to learning and maintaining knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintains all assigned areas in an effective, responsible and appropriate manner.
Cleans and keep all public and non-public areas in an orderly and attractive manner.
Works with a scheduled system of assigned duties.
Ensures all products and equipment are carefully accounted for and properly stored.
Completes accurate inspection reports on equipment and report malfunctions.
Remains current and familiar with all cleaning chemicals and their uses.
Maintains a professional appearance as per company grooming policy.
Maintains a high level of professionalism, positive demeanor and service etiquette.
Provides superior customer service and maintains excellent employee relations.
Understands and follows safety and emergency procedures and complies with Hotel and Casino policies and procedures.
