About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate I at INTEGRIS Health Canadian Valley in Yukon, Oklahoma. The role provides a clean and sanitary environment within the facility and requires population-specific competencies. The associate adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate to the position’s level of patient contact. The role may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit-test requirements. Potential exposures include infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Must follow standard precautions.
Position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.

Work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning functions in assigned areas according to established procedures and schedules.
Report needed project work to the supervisor, including equipment failures and supply needs.
Keep equipment, housekeeping closets, and/or storage areas clean and stocked.
Mix and maintain cleaning solutions.
Assist with orientation and on-the-job training of new employees.
May fill and push or pull trash and linen carts.
