About The Position

The Environmental Services Associate (ESA) is responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness of the physical facilities of the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (RJKCCC) in Philadelphia, PA. This role ensures the facility is maintained in a safe and clean manner, adhering to Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as directed by the Facilities Supervisor/Facilities Manager or Administrator. The ESA must be willing to work weekends and evenings as required to support ongoing operations. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least one year of professional cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Working knowledge of cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools of the trade.
• Good interpersonal relationship skills; be a team player.
• Ability to extend superior customer service.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather.
• Ability to move about the Kroc Center freely.
• Completion of PA Act 153 clearances and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check.
• Understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the day-to-day cleanliness of the physical facilities of the RJKCCC.
• Ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and clean manner in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Undertake tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post, as the list of duties is not exclusive or exhaustive.
