About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time Environmental Services Associate Lead at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role leads employees in assigned areas and ensures quality housekeeping and Patient Assistant Liaison services for patients and other customers. It requires population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals. The position reports to the assigned Hospitality Service Manager. Physical demands or respiratory fit-test requirements may vary; the role may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

At least 1 year of previous experience in housekeeping or another service-oriented industry.
Knowledge of basic math.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Population-specific competencies and adherence to applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
Follow standard precautions.

Nice To Haves

Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in supervising department staff, including hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary or counseling sessions as needed.
Ensure employees have the equipment needed to complete their work and that equipment is maintained.
Monitor and maintain quality improvement by conducting room inspections and guest interviews, informing managers of results, and initiating staff retraining when necessary.
Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and department stock levels to meet work needs; order supplies and products as directed.
Process daily lead reports and close service request reports; place work orders when needed.
Monitor the bed tracking system to meet or exceed standard goals.
Perform general housekeeping cleaning functions according to established procedures and schedules.
