Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of a hospital or healthcare facility. This role does not involve direct patient care. The Environmental Services Associate II will perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, stripping, and polishing floors, as well as vacuuming and shampooing carpets. They will also dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment, and wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, windows, sills, blinds, and door glass. Responsibilities include emptying, cleaning, and sanitizing waste receptacles, and cleaning and sanitizing restroom facilities and fixtures, including replenishing supplies. The role also involves picking up debris around the building, operating and controlling high- and low-speed stripping and buffing machines, and setting up tables, chairs, and equipment for special events and routine hospital activities. Additionally, the position requires identifying and reporting building maintenance needs.
