Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and infection control standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and other facility spaces according to established protocols
- Dispose of waste and hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and equipment using appropriate cleaning agents and techniques
- Restock supplies and ensure all areas are well-organized and presentable
- Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines at all times
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed
