About The Position

GMG Sayre is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join their dedicated Environmental Services team. This role is vital in creating a safe, clean, and healing environment for patients, families, and staff, directly supporting Guthrie’s mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The Housekeeper ensures a clean, safe, and aseptic environment across inpatient, outpatient, and office areas by performing cleaning, disinfection, waste handling, and equipment maintenance while delivering exceptional customer service. The position involves maintaining cleanliness in various areas including exam rooms, offices, bathrooms, corridors, reception areas, and lobbies.

Requirements

Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Previous experience in housekeeping helpful.

Nice To Haves

High school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness, vacuum, wash walls, wash windows, dust, mop floors, damp dust furniture.
Pick up trash and transport to designated areas.
Keep equipment, carts, and janitor closets clean on a daily basis.
Determine the dilution ratio of germicidal cleaning solutions.
Shows initiative in learning and developing skills in use of all equipment in the department.
Assists in the orientation of new employees in the department.
Utilizes proper body mechanics to prevent injuries.
Demonstrates willingness to accept non-routine work assignments as required.
Demonstrates effective time management.
Takes initiative in doing extra work within areas of responsibility such as spot clean walls, baseboards, etc.
