About The Position

The Environmental Services Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, visitors, and staff at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. The role involves thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting rooms and other areas, including fixtures, walls, and windows, while following established health and safety protocols. The aide operates cleaning equipment and restocks supplies as needed. This is a physically active, fast-paced role requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain safety standards under potentially stressful conditions, and work collaboratively with other departments. The EVS team emphasizes open communication, training, and support, and its work contributes directly to patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

Able to follow written and oral instructions.
Able to interact with all members of the healthcare team and respond appropriately to requests.
Sufficient reading ability to read instructions and chemical product labels and fill out maintenance requests.
High school education or GED is listed in the job details; high school education is preferred in the qualifications.
