Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
18 years of age or older (required)
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Applicants may be subject to a background check.
Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a long-term care setting, janitorial role, or customer service role preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility by dusting, wiping down, and sanitizing furniture, fixtures, hallways, and shared spaces
Collect and dispose of trash and soiled linens to help keep all areas neat and orderly
Clean, sanitize, and replenish restroom supplies as needed
Support program and event needs by assisting with room preparation and furniture arrangements
Receive, unload, and organize incoming deliveries when required
Adhere to established cleaning and sanitation guidelines while using products safely and effectively
Use commercial housekeeping equipment such as floor scrubbers, burnishers, and carpet extractors
Complete routine and specialized floor maintenance, including buffing, waxing, stripping, and refinishing
Collaborate with staff to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
