About The Position

Scenic Living Communities is a continuing care retirement community in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Scenic Living Communities offers several levels of living including independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. This position is critical to our mission and is responsible for maintaining the facility’s general cleanliness to maintain a sanitary and infection-free condition.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Must be able to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

Experience in commercial, hotel or hospital laundry settings is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
Operate various mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums and shampooers.
Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas.
At times must clean up human waste and other body fluids, as needed.
Handles various cleaning solvents and chemicals and is required to use the proper personal protection equipment.
May be asked to fulfill various resident requests within reason.
