About The Position

An Environmental Services Aide who excels in this role will: Clean patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule. Vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, and shine floors; replenish paper and soap products; clean mirrors, sinks, and toilets. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers. Collect and remove trash from all areas of the facility daily. Stock linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness. Adhere to all infection control policies and report safety hazards to supervisors. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
• Cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred
