Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to follow cleaning protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred; cleaning or housekeeping experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, public areas, and offices.
  • Supporting infection control and contributing to a positive patient experience through cleanliness and organization.
  • Maintaining professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, corridors, walls, and windows according to daily schedule.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and shining floors; replenishing paper and soap products; cleaning mirrors, sinks, and toilets.
  • Operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor scrubbers.
  • Collecting and removing trash from all areas of the facility daily.
  • Stocking linens throughout the hospital to ensure unit readiness.
  • Adhering to all infection control policies and reporting safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
