About The Position

The Environmental Services Aide completes cleaning tasks and ensures the trash and linen duties are carried out as assigned. The Environmental Services Aide maintains a positive customer service attitude toward patients, families, and visitors and greets all guests in a friendly manner.

Requirements

• 6 months of housekeeping experience
• Ability to follow infection control protocols and cleaning procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards patients, families, and visitors
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning equipment efficiently
• Good communication skills and the ability to greet guests in a friendly manner

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior housekeeping experience in a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Clean all hospital areas including patient rooms, patient care areas, hallways, lobbies, lounges, break rooms, and corridors.
• Ensure infection control protocols are met during cleaning processes.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Execute trash and linen duties as assigned, ensuring timely and efficient removal.
• Uphold a positive customer service attitude toward patients, families, and visitors.
• Greet all guests in a friendly and professional manner, contributing to a welcoming environment.
