About The Position

The Environmental Service Worker II cleans and services patient, public, clinical and administrative areas maintaining an attractive appearance in all areas. Moves furniture, equipment and supplies around the Medical Center. Performs a variety of Environmental Services duties to maintain the Medical Center in a safe, orderly and sanitary condition and provides the general maintenance to accomplish moves with use of manual and electrical tools. The individual responds to emergencies in regards to Medical Center operations, fire safety, utility failure, etc. when directed to do so.

Requirements

  • Ability to read labels and directions.
  • Ability to do basic math sufficiently enough to mix chemicals.
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. or demonstrated ability to qualify for reading labels/directions and basic math.
  • Completion of necessary orientation to Environmental Service Worker I.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and maintains department standard of work as Environmental Service Worker I by passing QA scores of 95%.
  • Ability to use various size ladders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction/supervision to complete task.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers with an open line of communication.

Nice To Haves

  • Personal vehicle for on the job transportation may be required for some assignments.
  • Valid driver's license.
