Environmental Service Worker - Housekeeper - Part-Time
About The Position
D'Youville Life & Wellness Community, a faith-based, nonprofit organization founded in 1960, is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Worker - Housekeeper to join their dynamic team. They are committed to providing short-term rehabilitation and skilled geriatric care, earning respect and trust within the community. This role is part-time, with shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM, and offers competitive compensation ranging from $15 to $16.65 per hour based on skills and experience. The facility provides ample parking and connected walkways for convenience in inclement weather.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be familiar with Auto Scrubbers, Buffing and Carpet machines and basic industry cleaning procedures.
- Must be available to work every other weekend and rotating shifts as required to accomplish projects on off shifts.
Responsibilities
- Various cleaning projects throughout the facility.
- Wet and dry mopping of floors, vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Auto scrubbing, floor stripping, waxing and buffing, shampooing carpets.
- Window washing.
- Moving furniture.
- Routine housekeeping duties in an assigned area as necessary or required.
