About The Position
Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking to fill both full-time and part-time Environmental Services Technician (EST) positions at their store. This role is responsible for maintaining the store's appearance for customers through housekeeping and janitorial work. The Full Time EST will work a schedule of four ten-hour days, while the Part Time EST will work the remaining three days, also ten hours a day. Requirements
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to push, pull, lift, up to 30lbs. with or without accommodations
- The ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- The ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
- One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience
Responsibilities
- Keep stores clean by dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing.
- Operate buffers and floor scrubbers.
- Manage trash and maintain bathrooms.
- Follow task outlines for all duties.
- Ensure work is performed in a safe and secure manner, complying with ISO regulations, company, and state policies.
- Work in various conditions including heat, cold, and dust.
- Physically process (load and unload) donated items.
