About The Position

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EST) for both full-time and part-time positions. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the store through housekeeping and janitorial work, ensuring a positive customer experience. The full-time position involves a 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts, while the part-time position covers the remaining 3 days with 10-hour shifts. Requirements

Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to push, pull, lift up to 30lbs. with or without accommodations.
Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to bend, reach and grasp throughout the work day.
Ability to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold, and dust.
Ability to physically process (both loading and unloading) donated items with or without accommodations.

Nice To Haves

A high school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
One or more years of housekeeping, janitorial or custodian experience.

Responsibilities

Dusting, mopping, sweeping, and polishing store surfaces.
Operating buffers and floor scrubbers.
Managing trash removal.
Maintaining cleanliness of restrooms.
Following task outlines for all duties.
Adhering to ISO regulations, company, and state policies for safe and secure work practices.
Working in various environmental conditions including heat, cold, and dust.
Physically processing donated items, including loading and unloading, with or without accommodations.
