About The Position
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking an Environmental Service Technician (EVS) / Housekeeper for their inpatient rehabilitation hospital located in Marlton, NJ. This full-time position involves maintaining a safe and welcoming atmosphere by ensuring the cleanliness of hospital areas, including halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms. The role is crucial for patient recovery and visitor satisfaction. Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience.
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Hospital EVS experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in our hospitals.
- Keep the halls, stations, waiting rooms, and patient rooms clean.
- Assist in maintaining the quality and appearance of the physical plant by reporting repair issues and needs.
- Keep floors clean and safe by dust mopping and wet mopping as necessary.
- Clean and polish all metal trim, furnishings, and/or equipment.
- Wash walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
- Strip, wax, and buff floors as assigned using safety precautions.
- Assist in moving furniture as requested.
- Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
