About The Position

Requirements

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift and move heavy objects
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in environmental services or housekeeping

Responsibilities

Cleans patient rooms; duties including but are not limited to: disinfecting all surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning of sinks, counter areas, shower and toilet, dusting, mopping and vacuuming, restocking paper products, changing bedding and shampooing the carpet.
Disinfects all public areas duties including but are not limited to: sinks, toilets, washing walls, damp mop, damp disinfecting all areas, disinfecting handrails, replacement of blinds and shampooing carpets, buffing or waxing of floors in areas where needed.
Follows proper procedure for separating regular waster versus bio hazardous waste and storage of clean and dirty linens.
Cleans Ancillary areas duties including but are not limited to: vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, trash disposal, damp disinfecting.
