About The Position

This part-time role focuses on maintaining the store's cleanliness and overall appearance to ensure a positive brand experience for customers. Responsibilities include general cleaning, trash disposal, floor maintenance, and deep cleaning of specific store areas. The position also involves customer service, assisting with checkout, loyalty program enrollment, and supporting operational tasks like truck unloading and stocking. Team members are expected to uphold safety and operational standards, maintain positive interactions, and project a professional image.

Requirements

  • Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
  • Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Nice To Haves

  • Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and recovery.
  • Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
  • Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return them to correct placement.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents to prepare cleaning solutions.
  • Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
  • Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
  • Execute Company policies and standards.
