Requirements

  • High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 5+ year of experience within a warehouse and environmental services environment (required)
  • Previous environmental, health and safety experience (required)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Service Delivery Supervisor in providing guidance to team members and overseeing the daily operations of waste services across the facility to ensure the safe and timely completion of work to support our customers.
  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
  • Provides guidance to facility employees in their assigned tasks to ensure operational goals are met in an efficient manner, including shipping and receiving activities.
  • Trains new employees in Company and department procedures.
  • Ensures all employees are working in a safe manner with all prescribed safety equipment required by regulations and Company policies and procedures.
  • Interfaces with other departments and functions to ensure the smooth completion of projects and appropriate task transitions.
  • Adheres to and ensures facility complies with all employee OSHA requirements, RCRA hazardous waste requirements and DOT hazardous materials compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
  • Monitors assigned area equipment to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness of operations and maintenance; makes recommendations as appropriate.
  • Manages the quality control and assurance of inbound and outbound materials as necessary.
  • Operates a forklift around facility as needed.
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.
