About The Position

The Environmental Service Associate provides environmental support (housekeeping) to the hospital. The focus of the Environmental Service Associate is to ensure a safe and clean environment. As an “Environmental Services Associate” you will be responsible for all general cleaning tasks in their assigned area of the hospital, promoting sanitary conditions which prevent the spread of infection and odors. You may be required to perform tasks which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. Similar duties may also extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and the adjacent grounds of the Medical Center’s premises. You will respond rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc. and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalency (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all general cleaning tasks in their assigned area of the hospital

• Performs other duties as assigned
