About The Position
The Environmental Services Aide, as a member of the team, is responsible for maintaining assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition, using proper procedures. Recognizes the importance of positive public relations and carries out assigned duties with this in mind. Continually seeks ways to improve the appearance of the Center.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with patient, family, visitors and staff in the Center.
- Must be flexible and adapt easily to change.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Housekeeping experience preferred, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Terminal cleaning of patient / exam rooms.
- Dust & Wet mopping of floors.
- Cleaning of patient, Nursing and public areas
- Vacuuming
- Removal and disposal of waste from assigned work area.
- Responsible for reporting employee/patient/visitor’s injuries or accidents or other safety issues to the supervisor.
