Environmental Service Aide performs housekeeping duties necessary to maintain the building in a clean, orderly, attractive, safe and infectious free environment. Responsibilities

  • Performs housekeeping duties necessary to maintain the building in a clean, orderly, attractive, safe and infectious free environment.
  • Works closely with other departments to support the broad goals and philosophy of the organization.
  • Onsite and continuous training of LifeCare Medical Center’s standards and guidelines on understanding cleaning tasks of wiping, disinfection, dust mopping and mopping and wearing the proper protective equipment.
  • Using the correct procedures to maintain clean and sanitary surfaces, removing and cleaning messes and spills, restocking supplies and resetting patient rooms.
  • Keeping storage closets, equipment and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Responsible for cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, offices, stairways, and other work areas.
  • Completes weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly checklists/projects in assigned area.
  • Assists in emergencies/urgent situations as needed.
