The position requires a dynamic individual with an environmental science, water quality, geology, biology, chemistry, or civil engineering background and the ability to work flexible hours (but primarily Monday through Friday) and a willingness to travel by vehicle routinely. The position will be extremely active and will include field assignments that involve conducting Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) inspections and Best Management Practices (BMPs) design and installations for major utility companies in Northern California. Knowledge of SWPPP type work and possession of a Qualified Stormwater Practitioner (QSP) license is preferred. Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations is a plus. The position requires an individual who is capable of working independently on a daily basis and can conduct themselves in a professional manner with limited guidance. Project sites are in various regions of California. The ideal candidate will live within commutable distance of the project sites. The salary range for this position is based on level: Level I: $59,875-$72,150 per year Level II: $69,264-$84,156per year Level III: $80,130-$98,159 per year This position comes with a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a 3% match, paid time off (PTO), and company-paid holidays.
