About The Position

EA is seeking an experienced environmental scientist with a focus on natural resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing ecological assessment, permitting and restoration projects nationwide with a strong emphasis on wetland related projects. The successful applicant will work primarily out of the mid-Atlantic region, but will support offices across the county.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years experience with wetland delineations and wetland permitting
• Experienced with vegetation identification
• Must be able to pass a motor vehicle records check required by our insurer.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS)
• Maryland DNR Qualified Professional (QP)
• Experience with wetland permitting in Maryland

Responsibilities

• Leading a variety of natural resource field surveys, data collection and management and report writing.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff.
• Interact with clients and agency representatives.
• Develop and lead proposal efforts.
