About The Position
Under supervision, performs organic, inorganic, biological, and physical analyses of samples—including water, wastewater, soil, sludge, and air—submitted by various City of Dallas departments. Uses approved methods to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and health regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biology, or another natural science field.
- One year of entry-level experience in the water/wastewater industry, environmental analysis, or laboratory work.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform organic, inorganic, biological, and physical analyses of environmental samples submitted by City departments.
- Use approved analytical methods to support compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and health regulations.
