As an Environmental Science Intern, you will support professionals working on environmental assessments, permitting, compliance, remediation, and sustainability projects. You will gain hands-on exposure to field data collection, environmental regulations, technical reporting, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery while contributing to active assignments with guidance from experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Completion of relevant environmental, science, engineering, or technical coursework.
- Basic understanding of environmental principles and regulatory concepts.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical research or data tools.
Nice To Haves
- Internship, co-op, laboratory, field, or research experience related to environmental projects.
- Familiarity with GIS, environmental sampling, permitting, or modeling tools.
- Involvement in environmental, sustainability, or related professional organizations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with environmental reports, assessments, permit materials, research, and project documentation.
- Support field activities such as sampling, site observations, surveys, and data collection.
- Help evaluate environmental conditions, compliance requirements, and potential mitigation measures.
