About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of production areas, coolers, storage rooms, and docks. The role involves using various chemicals, transporting equipment and waste, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). The Sanitor will also be responsible for organizing hoses and performing other assigned duties to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Must demonstrate safe working habits
• Must be able to lift in excess of 30 pounds frequently
• Must be able to pull racks weighing in excess of 100 pounds
• Must be able to learn and perform all positions
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)
• Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must be willing to assist other team members in other areas
• Must be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time
• Must be able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Must be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Prepping and cleaning production rooms during production runs, product change over, or break times
• Organizing and cleaning coolers, storage rooms, and docks
• Transporting racks, tubs, baskets, and combos to specific areas using a hand jack
• Transporting waste from production areas to back dock for disposal
• Applying and using various chemicals on equipment and in environmental locations
• Maintaining the cleanliness of ceilings, walls, vents, doors and drains
• Washing and rinsing dump tubs, buckets, pallets and garbage cans
• Organizing air hoses and water hoses
• Performing other duties as assigned
