An Environmental Sample Technician is responsible for supporting soil remediation and reclamation operations in the oil and gas industry. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (accredited) or Trade Certificate required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum of 21 years of age.
Ability to walk over uneven terrain, carry field equipment (up to 50 lbs.), and perform sampling activities such as hand auguring.
Pre-Employment drug screening required per state regulations.
Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
Must be customer-focused, highly motivated, and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct soil, water, and air sampling for environmental assessments.
Assist with excavation, material handling, and site preparation.
Operate and maintain field equipment for environmental monitoring.
Support heavy equipment operators by acting as a spotter for safety.
Perform labor-intensive activities, including drum collection and waste handling.
Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
Maintain detailed field logs and documentation for reporting.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Manager.
