About The Position
TechLaw Consultants is seeking an Environmental Sample Technician/Driver to collect air sample media from monitoring devices at various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan area. A company vehicle is provided and is picked up/dropped off daily at the company site. Local travel throughout the Chicago area is required and can vary from day to day. Candidates should be able to multitask, be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently, with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- 1 to 2 years of general work experience.
- Environmental training, such as OSHA 40/24 Hour HazMat certification.
- Data recording and processing skills.
Responsibilities
- Collecting air sample media from monitoring devices at various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan area.
- Meticulously document all air sampling tasks (training is provided).
- Use mobile devices.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Pick up and drop off company vehicle daily at the company site.
