About The Position

TechLaw Consultants is seeking an Environmental Sampling Technician/Driver to collect air sample media from monitoring devices at various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan area. This is a part-time position, working 15 to 20 hours per week. A company vehicle is provided for local travel. The role requires meticulous documentation of all air sampling tasks, use of mobile devices, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Shifts include weekdays, weekends, and holidays, typically from 4 to 11 a.m. daily.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask, be highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• 1 to 2 years of general work experience.
• Environmental training, such as OSHA 40/24 Hour HazMat certification.
• Data recording and processing skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect air sample media from monitoring devices at various locations in the Chicago Metropolitan area.
• Meticulously document all air sampling tasks.
• Use mobile devices.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Pick up and drop off company vehicle daily at the company site.
• Perform local travel throughout the Chicago area.
