About The Position
The Environmental Safety Monitor/Air Cooler Attendant is responsible for monitoring portable air coolers and associated equipment within the psychiatric department to promote a safe and secure environment. This position does not provide patient care, clinical services, or therapeutic interventions. The role focuses on environmental observation, equipment safety, and support tasks for unit operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries in a behavioral health setting
- Ability to observe surroundings and report safety concerns promptly
- Basic communication and organizational skills
