(Intertek-PSI), a part of Intertek, is a prominent US-based provider of construction assurance, testing, and inspection services, offering a wide range of services including construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.

Requirements

  • BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of proven technical environmental consulting with Phase I ESAs and/or Asbestos Inspection experience.
  • Current, Valid Texas Asbestos License.
  • Must be able to perform tasks in varying field/office conditions.
  • Must be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one’s discipline.
  • Strong technical proposal and report writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs), soil and groundwater sampling, and assist in assessment and remediation and field observation documentation.
  • Perform industrial hygiene services to include assisting with asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveys.
  • Prepare technical proposals and reports.
  • Communicate with clients and regulators to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Self-manage and make decisions throughout all project phases.
  • Manage and control project budgets.
  • Build solid relationships with clients.
