About The Position

Patriot Engineering and Environmental is growing and is looking for an Environmental Project Manager Engineer/Geologist to join our talented and impactful team in our Dayton, OH office. This position will be part of a very skilled team that works closely with the Regional Environmental Group Manager and other technical leads managing and performing environmental assessment and remedial services. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil or Environmental Engineering
5 – 7 years of experience
Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate
Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
Knowledge of Federal, Ohio State and Local environmental regulations
Ability to work directly with clients professionally and display service-oriented attitude to address their operational, remediation, and development challenges and goals.
Ability to travel when needed for fieldwork.
Ability to successfully pass both a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Professional license a plus or the ability to obtain within 2 years

Responsibilities

Managing and performing environmental assessment and remedial services.
Performing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
Performing BUSTR closures, Tier I/II.
Assisting with Phase II investigations, remedial action plans, and demolition oversight.
Assisting with review, evaluation, and interpretation of environmental data and prepare technical reports.
Interacting and communicating with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels in a professional manner.
Assisting with preparation of cost proposals.
Adhering to and promoting Patriot's health and safety and loss prevention procedures and policies.
Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
