About The Position

CREtelligent is seeking a Phase I Collaborative Report Writer to join our Akron, OH office on a hybrid schedule. In this role, you'll work side-by-side with our internal environmental team and our nationwide contractor network to craft and deliver high-quality Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports that our clients rely on to make confident, informed decisions. Requirements

  • BA or BS in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience in relevant environmental fieldwork.
  • 3-5 years experience writing Phase I Environmental Site Assessment reports.
  • Experience with interpreting and processing field/analytical data.
  • Experienced in technical report writing.
  • Proficient in MS Office product lines.
  • Desire to work with a growing professional team.

Nice To Haves

  • RSRA writing experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, SBA and HUD compliant ESAs preferred but not required.
  • Asbestos, lead paint, radon licenses and training a plus
  • Experience with Quire/Parcel a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our internal environmental team and contractor network to produce clear, accurate, client-ready Phase I ESA reports.
  • Synthesize contractor field data, historical records, and regulatory findings into well-organized written reports.
  • Execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills; both internally and client facing.
  • Lead with CRE due diligence expertise
  • Assess disparate data components to create client end products
  • Render final assessment and provide opinion as an environmental professional
  • Operate as a self-starter who is resourceful, and displays the ability to work productively on multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines
  • Serve as a key member of the environmental group with the ability to step in and immediately manage west coast projects
  • Occasional field work if necessary to support team
