About The Position

TTL is searching for an Environmental Professional to join our team in San Antonio. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types and teams. This role will provide support and coordination with environmental agencies to address environmental concerns.

Requirements

B.S. in Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering or related field
0-5 years of experience in related field
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
Able to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast paced environment
Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to travel overnight, extended on occasion, sometimes with short notice. Overnight travel expected >60%
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Physical Fitness: perform heavy lifting up to 50+ lbs; possess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environment; be certified to wear a respirator
Possess mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment

Nice To Haves

OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

Responsibilities

Performs routine field environmental sampling of groundwater, storm water, soil, etc.
Monitors, observes, samples, and records field environmental conditions.
Follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintains cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.
Prepares daily reports, data sheets, and technical report writing. Operates with moderate supervision.
Assists with due diligence assessments (Phase I Environmental Site Assessments) and basic remedial investigation activities.
Provides construction environmental oversight/monitoring related to soil and groundwater management plans.
Conducts regulatory compliance reporting.
Experience conducting or performing Property Condition Assessments a plus.
Typical activities include, but are not limited to: map reading, maintain chain-of-custody forms, utilize equipment to measure field parameters, environmental site inspections, and field inspections for drilling access and general utility clearance.
