Sierra Piedmont wishes to retain a Professional Engineer (PE) for a leadership role who is tasked with managing environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation, and compliance with a GA PE license. The role involves technical review, client advisory services, and mentoring staff, with a focus on Phase I/II environmental site assessments, remediation, and compliance projects. The right candidate should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing a superior client experience. Key Responsibilities and Duties Client Relations: Work directly with clients to solve environmental problems, manage risk, and provide a superior client experience. Environmental Compliance: Develop and implement Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure (SPCC) plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP). Project Management: Meet deadlines, adhere to cost/time budgets, and ensure adherence to state/federal regulations. Phase I/II ESA & Remediation: Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and manage soil and groundwater remediation projects. Field Work: Train and mentor junior personnel, and conduct site visits as needed. Project Leadership: Provide technical guidance and project management for environmental services across North America. Mentorship: Support and mentor junior environmental engineers and staff.
