About The Position

Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries to ensure products are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labeling is accurate. The Environmental Monitoring Specialist Group Leader will be responsible for collecting samples for Environmental monitoring (EM) and Utilities monitoring (UM), including all sample collection and logistics. This role also involves coordinating testing materials and supplies, and performing sample and data entry into the LIMS system. Additionally, the Group Leader will support and monitor a team of direct reports, potentially participate in new hire interviews, support the onboarding process, and participate in training other employees.

Requirements

Completed Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration
Previous leadership experience
Comfortable with being on your feet and walking around a manufacturing plant for duration of shift
Solid work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Flexible self-starter and results-oriented
Strong attention to detail
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
