This specific role involves collecting samples for Environmental and Utilities monitoring, managing sample logistics, coordinating testing materials, and entering data into the LIMS system. Additionally, the position includes leadership responsibilities such as supporting and monitoring a team, participating in interviews, assisting with onboarding and training new employees.

Requirements

Completed Bachelors degree in a scientific concentration
Previous leadership experience
Comfortable with being on your feet and walking around a manufacturing plant for duration of shift
Solid work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Flexible self-starter and results-oriented
Strong attention to detail
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

Collects samples for Environmental monitoring (EM) and Utilities monitoring (UM).
Responsible for all sample collection and logistics as needed.
Coordinates testing materials and supplies needed for testing.
Sample and data entry into LIMS system.
Supports and monitors team of direct reports.
May participate in new hire interviews.
Supports the on-boarding process of new employees.
Participates in training of other employees.
