This position focuses on environmental sample collection and laboratory support rather than analytical testing. The primary responsibilities include conducting environmental monitoring in controlled process areas to ensure compliance with cleanroom standards. The role involves collecting samples from high-purity water systems, clean steam, and compressed gases for routine monitoring. Additionally, the associate will perform general laboratory support tasks such as cleaning controlled temperature units, operating the autoclave, and assisting with basic lab upkeep. The position also requires assisting with equipment maintenance and calibration coordination, utilizing the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample tracking, and participating in overtime, weekend, holiday, and on-call schedules as needed to support continuous operations. Specific cleanroom requirements include no cosmetic products, short and unadorned nails, no jewelry (except medical alert items or one smooth ring band), hair neatly tied back and contained, and trimmed/secured facial hair.
