The Environmental Manager will be responsible for maintaining compliance with all environmental permits, including Title V/Clean Air Act air permits, NPDES stormwater and wastewater permits, RCRA hazardous waste authorizations, and SPCC plans. This role involves managing permit renewals, modifications, and new applications in coordination with state and federal regulatory agencies. The Environmental Manager will serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections, audits, and enforcement matters, and will oversee the preparation and submission of all required environmental reports. The position also includes overseeing refinery air emissions monitoring programs, wastewater discharge monitoring, and administering solid and hazardous waste programs. Additionally, the role involves developing and delivering environmental training, leading internal audits, driving continuous improvement in environmental performance, supporting corporate sustainability goals, and leading the response to environmental incidents. The Environmental Manager will also oversee ongoing remediation programs, participate in budget preparation for environmental projects, support managers at all HRC locations, and coordinate with various departments to meet environmental responsibilities. This role includes supervising and evaluating environmental group employees and participating in industry groups to stay current on environmental issues and regulatory developments.
