As our Environmental Lead | Client Service Manager for the Greater Los Angeles Region, you will lead the continued growth of our Environmental Services practice while serving as a trusted advisor to public and private sector clients throughout the region. Backed by a nationally recognized ENR-ranked firm, you'll leverage Psomas' multidisciplinary capabilities and established client relationships to expand our environmental footprint across Southern California. This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven environmental consulting leader who thrives on business development, strategic client partnerships, and delivering complex environmental solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, land development, planning/policy, wildlife biology, or a related discipline.
  • 15+ years of environmental consulting experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Proven success, growing client relationships and winning new business.
  • Experience serving as Senior Project Manager, Principal-in-Charge, or similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of CEQA/NEPA and California environmental permitting.

  • Established network within the Greater Los Angeles Region public sector market is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Expand Environmental Services across the Greater Los Angeles Region through strategic business development and client engagement.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with agencies, municipalities, utilities, and private-sector clients.
  • Serve as Senior Project Manager or Principal-in-Charge, overseeing project delivery, technical quality, budgets, and schedules.
  • Lead pursuits, proposals, presentations, interviews, and contract negotiations while partnering with technical experts across multiple environmental disciplines.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams delivering CEQA/NEPA compliance, permitting, biological resources, cultural resources, air quality, noise, and related environmental services.
  • Represent Psomas through professional organizations, conferences, and community engagement.
