About The Position
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an Environmental Lab Technician - II to join their team. The ideal candidate will perform environmental testing of lighting products, measure outcomes, evaluate data, and provide routine troubleshooting support.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of experience in a related position OR Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of experience in a related position.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Process Control is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs environmental testing of lighting products in accordance with established company, customer, industry, and regulatory standards and specifications.
- Monitors progress of testing and measures outcomes.
- Reviews and evaluates the results of testing to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Reports the results and analysis on the proper documentation.
- Assists in and/or performs troubleshooting of defective equipment.
- Works in conjunction with QC and Production personnel in achieving the overall team objective.
