About The Position

Braun Intertec is seeking students pursuing degrees in environmental engineering/studies, geology, or related field and any other interested candidates for a 3-month internship. Participants will have the chance to get hands-on experience in the environmental Investigation and Remediation and Permitting and Compliance field and may include research into emerging contaminants, assisting with preparation of technical documents, and other related tasks.

Requirements

• Able to develop and maintain relationships with cross functional teams
• Good business acumen
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Strong communication skills
• Highly organized
• Able to work independently
• Significant progress towards a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related

Responsibilities

• Interact with field and office geologists, engineers, and scientists
• Complete office-based research, data compilation, and writing
• Conduct various field activities to include site reconnaissance, sample collection for air, soil, and water, and environmental site assessments along with other outdoor tasks
• Work with other key consultants on environmental projects
• Assist with other department needs, as requested
