These positions will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of regulatory, ecological, engineering and environmental planning issues. 2,500 Environmental Services staff. 20 technical specialties. 900 professional associations. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of college education in environmental sciences or an engineering field.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize a diverse array of assignments and duties.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Enjoys both field work and office work.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred candidate is familiar with AutoCAD and MS Office software.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in the management and implementation of various environmental projects.
  • Engineering support could include design, CAD drafting; project documentation (i.e. report preparation, water quality calculations, drainage area delineations, hydrologic calculations, file organization, etc.); construction observation, attendance at client meetings and various project-related tasks.
  • Assist staff conducting research.
  • Conduct fieldwork on a variety of sites.
  • Prepare other project documentation as required.
  • Track the processing of incoming and outgoing project documents.
  • Performing other duties as requested.
