About The Position

TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Environmental Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program out of our New York, NY Office. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2027 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Data Management / Trend Analysis some statistics and environmental chemistry.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, detail orientated person, Team player.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

Convert data sets to xls (primarily for pdf, complete trend analysis if the data (PFAS soil, sediment, surfacewater, and groundwater) very large data sets.
Some technical writing and power point presentation preparation.
Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation, report writing.
Perform engineering calculations and design assistance for government, commercial, and industrial properties as needed.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary.
