This is a technical and scientific position in the Licensing Division of the Bureau of Land Resources. Responsibilities include reviewing relevant sections of the Site Location of Development Act (Site Law) and Natural Resources Protection Act (NRPA) applications, conducting site investigation, preparing recommendations, and overseeing all aspects of the Land Bureau environmental hydrogeology unit. The position also provides as-needed hydrogeology support to the Bureau of Water Quality. This position may be involved in rulemaking, legislative testimony and other support for policy activities. This position involves serving as a working supervisor, responsible for assigning tasks and overseeing work carried out by staff.
