About The Position
The Environmental Health & Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all applicable environmental, health & safety laws and regulations. This position plays a critical role in protecting the health and safety of employees, as well as the general public and the environment.
Requirements
- College degree preferred with a major in chemistry or environmental services or an equivalent amount of experience working within PCB manufacturing or a closely related industry.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well with people.

- Demonstrated leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and evaluating potential hazards, implementing safety protocols, and training employees on proper safety procedures.
- Evaluating, assessing and selecting training programs to prepare for a variety of situations related to the environment, health & safety.
- Manages all environmental concerns including EPA and City regulations.
- Performs safety inspections, manages safety meetings and OSHA reporting.
